Does anyone know if there is a third party Wifi card compatible with the Palm T3 ? Original Palm Wifi cards are too expensive ;)

There may be another way to do this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yWKuZpphRMc suggests that using Bluetooth tethering might alow the Palm to use connectivity from another device. Given that the WiFi card circa 2004 will not support modern protocols, any router used to connect will will need to have all modern security turned off! It's for this reason that my Psion netbook is no longer connected to any router, unless I had it carefully connected to a stand alone router linked to no other devices.

Is it not a little bit of a hopeless exercise to connect these old machines to the internet as anyhow they will most likely not be able to open up many websites anymore ?

I guess you can still use SSH, FTP etc. Just not websites.

Hello unknown user who is hiding under the name and the avatar of this chat, please change your name for the next postings and tell me your name (possible as PM).

    to all:
The "unknown user" was one of the admins, but who is not the owner. His telegram app did not use his correct ID as the sender, but the ID of this chat. On the one hand, it is reassuring that it was no stranger who could perhaps gain access to all addresses and telephone numbers of us members. On the other hand, it is completely a mystery how this can happen.
Do any of you know how that could work?

The matter is settled. We found out that all official admins send their postings as NMobileDigest.

thought i would work through serial connection... Maybe some kind of nullmodem to another pc

    David, [25.08.21 15:25]
I dumped the serial connection in my last PC update, it's a bit slow for Nullmodem I think, will be like 90's dial up! U now move files via the CF card! Still works after 16 years!
